Established in 2001, Redwood Insurance Brokers Ltd is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of expertise, honesty and integrity. When the business was originally set up, our mission was to provide commercial insurance for local businesses. We have since evolved into a business that is able to offer a comprehensive range of insurance solutions for businesses and individual. Whilst we have a strong local presence, we provide services throughout the UK.
Our reputation for delivering a first-class service, paired with competitive premiums, has solidified our presence in the insurance marketplace. Operating from our Essex-based office we have a highly experienced broking team who are able to provide our clients with cost effective insurance solutions.

Steve is the CEO and one of the founding Directors of Redwood. Hs main role at Redwood is to oversee the compliance and service standards. In addition to being a qualified Broker, Steve is also uniquely qualified as an IFA and is always happy to share his experience and industry knowledge gained over several decades His enduring presence in the Redwood family reflects a commitment to traditional customer care values, driving the future development of Redwood as an Independent Retail Commercial and Personal Private Client Broker. Outside work, Steve finds joy in gardening and follows rugby and football.

Paul’s current role as our Corporate Development Director sees him focus on developing innovative insurance products and supporting our many corporate and high net worth clients. Prior to joining Redwood in 2009, Paul gained a vast experience in the Lloyds and London market where he specialised in placing risks in the Leisure industry. Paul really likes to get out to meet new and old customers alike and is always happy to work with clients and our trading partners to secure the best solutions for their insurance needs.
In his spare time, Paul is a handy golfer, enjoys a glass of red wine and is the proud owner of two Pugs, Arthur and Henry. He also makes exceedingly good cakes!

Bringing over 40 years of industry experience, Andy, our Office Manager has a wealth of knowledge covering all classes of insurance. Andy, is adept at problem solving motor and household insurance issues but nowadays tends to focus on the accounting side of the business along with providing valuable compliance support to Steve.
Andy has an unrivalled passion for Football, Rugby and Cricket and loves the experience of going to Twickenham, Wembley and Lords.

Chris Kenny, a Non-Executive Director, serves as a Consultant Broker and Negotiator, specifically overseeing our Underwriting Facility. He spent 50 years as a Broker at Lloyd's serving on a number of committees and working parties and ended his career in the London Market as CEO of an Independent Lloyd's Broking Firm. Away from Insurance he is a collector of English Studio Pottery.

Kelly looks after our Private Insurance Clients where she provides a personal, friendly service for homes and estates, including High Net Worth, whilst negotiating with Insurers and operating our own in-House facility. Her background was originally Underwriting Home Insurance and she transferred to Broking some 14 years ago. Outside of work she enjoys long walks with her dog and regularly attends her local Gym and Yoga classes.

Jo is our Senior Commercial Account Executive where her main role is looking after our clients and negotiating with Insurers. She joined Redwood in 2018 after 16 years as a Commercial Insurance Underwriter. Away from the Insurance world, Jo enjoys spending time with her family and listening to music.
